Hi! My name is Jah.  I have a degree in Environmental Science but I’m currently a housewife and I’m loving it! I know I’m supposed to say “It’s boring, I want a career so I can be independent” .  But I’m not much of a conformist.  There are many ways to look at things and I don’t define people by their careers because too many of us are in the jobs that we HAVE to do rather than the jobs we’d LOVE to do.  I’m using this opportunity to explore my hobbies and interests and myself.

I love animals, I aspire to live greener as I don’t think I’m green enough, I’m very snap-happy and always have my camera with me. I love to cook, I teach a free Thai cooking class twice a month. I have great friends and family that I love to spend time with whenever I’m home(in Thailand).  I like the outdoors, although I’m no bungee jumper or skydiver, I enjoy hiking, weekend trips, scuba diving etc.

I love to keep things simple, I don’t need drugs or alcohol to be entertained. I don’t need to get wasted to call it a “good time”.  And I don’t want to go down that road 🙂 I hope that when the day comes when we’re in a place where I can legally work, I will get to do something involving animals and the environment. I believe that if given the opportunity, I will thrive doing what I love(this applies to everyone). I always remind myself though, that not everybody gets to do what they want 🙂

No matter what happens and wherever life takes me I always try to keep it real and simple. I try to maintain good thoughts, good speech and good actions. I’m not

perfect but I try.

Enjoyed your blog. If you still check it, I was wondering if you could show me how to write the following in Korean:

    Thank you Dr. Kim.

I am making a quilt and would like to embroider this on the back.
